Welcome to Bast's Treasures! Bast's Treasures is a no-kill kitten rescue. We specialize in kittens, newborn to five weeks. We strive to provide a safe, cage-free, loving home environment until they are old enough to be adopted. We also have the occasional older adoptee. Persons interested in adopting are asked to complete an application. Approved applicants are then asked to sign a Contract for Adoption. Terms of the contract include, but are not limited to: provide a safe comfortable environment, all necessary veterinary care, spay or neuter by five months of age if adopted as a kitten, agree not to declaw or let the cat outside except as necessary to transport, and agree to retain sole ownership of the cat. They also agree that if they are no longer able to fulfill their obligation to the cat, that they return him/her to Bast's Treasures for placement in another home. 'A cat is a living being, dependant on a lifelong commitment from you for love, care, and shelter.'

Health care Update!
Sadly, ShelterPet is no longer working with 1-800-Save-A-Pet and they no longer offer their 30 day health coverage for new adoptions. We are looking into other options. In the meantime, please be aware that our rescues receive the same love and care that our own wonderful fur-babies get - in the same environment! We strive to place healthy, people-oriented kitties in safe, loving homes.
